Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in editing and repurposing short-form content across multiple platforms, with the ability to create compelling ad creatives and original video content from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit and repurpose short-form video content into various formats and variations for different platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
  • Create engaging ad creatives and promotional video content from scratch
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop video concepts and execute vision
  • Optimize content for platform-specific requirements and audience engagement
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all video content
  • Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Stay current with video trends, editing techniques, and platform updates
Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience editing short-form video content with a strong portfolio
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to create original video content and ad creatives from concept to completion
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their specific video requirements
  • Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with motion graphics and animation
  • Knowledge of color grading and audio editing
  • Understanding of video marketing and conversion optimization
  • Experience with various video formats and codecs
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and performance metrics
Schedule Requirements
  • Must be available for 3-4 hours of overlap with Pacific Time Zone
  • Flexible schedule with ability to meet project deadlines
  • Responsive communication during collaborative work sessions
