As a Market Intelligence & Data Science Lead you will develop and manage business intelligence solutions for the organization and inform and execute business decisions. 

Main duties include the following :

(1)   Market & Business Intelligence

• Identifying the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability
• Size the market in the different countries covered by the Business Unit per pillar and measure the market share held by Motul
• Development, deployment and full owndership of Power BI business intelligence (sales, profitability, customer service, marketing, etc).
• Prepare analytical reports to summarize findings and share with the appropriate company stakeholders through established communication processes

(2)   Strategic planning / S&OP

• Lead the design, implementation, automation and tracking of stock analysis + sell-in + sell-out of importers
• Management of digital development projects with Group's Digital and IT teams
• Implement Group projects at local basis and share best practices with other business units
• Implement Motul´s best practices and state-of-the-art processes found worldwide, by interacting and maintaining a constant working relation with other BU´s data science and strategic planning teams

(3)   Data Science

• Development of internal reports and tools for centralized data management and reporting
• Automation of calculation of Trade/Commercial Policy compliances and supports + corresponding quarterly settlement, per importer
• (Automatic) preparation of sales reports for MBR, QBR, Budget, Forecasts together with Controlling and Customer Service

Profile

Education / Qualification:    

• Bachelor´s or Masters' Degree from a top University or Business School, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or Business/Data Analytics, with strong emphasis in numerical analysis and data management

Experience needed:

• 5+ years relevant work experience
• 3 to 4 years of experience in market & business intelligence handling, strategic planning & S&OP, Econometrics, statistics, process automation, Power BI, ERP and Python/R programming languages
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience within a sales organization at an OEM or regional/country importer level, with a distribution network beneath
• Working knowledge of business and financial metrics at the OEM/Importer/Distribution Network level (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow)

Language:

1)  Spanish : Native language/Advanced

2)  English: Professional Proficiecy

3)  French: Would be a plus

IT Knowledge:

1)   Excellent in Power BI, Tableau, QlikView

2)   ERP : SAP

3)   Programming: Visual Basic + Python + R

4)   SQL servers and MS Access databases

5)   Microsoft Office (Master level in MS Excel)
