We are a rapidly growing Plaintiff's Elder Abuse & Personal Injury practice located in Los Angeles, CA. We are currently seeking an experienced Demand Writer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
- Once client has reached MMI, prepares and sends accurate demands
- Reviews client specials list, Dropbox, Abacus, and the client physical file
- Uses the correct demand template for the type of case
- Ensures the complete demand includes: all medical reports, all medical bills, any PI liens, any health insurance liens, policy limit demands and, if applicable: traffic collision report, loss of earnings, property damage photos, final repair invoices or total loss documents, photos of visible bodily injuries, significant radiology/MRI findings, procedures received, and future medical treatment/damages
- Verifies medical bills are final bills to ensure correct total amount
- Redacts unnecessary or sensitive information from the demand
- For Policy Limit Demands over 50K, confirms ASAP if conformed copies of Summons and Complaint should be included as an exhibit
- Ensures the demand is sent to the current adjuster with claim number information
- Saves cost of record requests etc. in 'Costs' folder on Dropbox and list on "Costs' tab on Abacus
- Updates Master List and Abacus
- Prepares weekly "Demands Sent" report and emails it by Friday at 5:30 pm to Yosi and Jason with the Settlement Negotiator CC'd
- Records all case information accurately and timely into Abacus
- Maintains upmost professional standards towards the Firm and its clients
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong reading comprehension, critical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical skills
- Excellent written communication with the ability to work quickly and accurately
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology
- General computer skills with working knowledge of Firm's software, including Microsoft Office and Abacus
- Professional demeanor and appearance
