TGM is a US-based investment firm that owns and manages commercial real estate and other assets across the United States and Colombia.

The Role

We're looking for a Business Manager to own the day-to-day operations of our asset management business.

You'll work directly with the owner — collaborating on priorities, solving problems together, and driving execution across the portfolio. The owner handles strategy and deals. You make sure everything on the ground runs smoothly — rents collected, loans paid, vacancies filled, properties maintained, staff managed, and nothing falls through the cracks.

This is a high-trust, high-ownership role for someone who wants to build something alongside a hands-on entrepreneur — not just take orders.

What You'll Do

Property Operations

  • Ensure all properties are performing — rents collected, tenants happy, vacancies filled
  • Coordinate with US property managers, vendors, and tenants
  • Track leases, renewals, and expirations
  • All assets well maintained — no deferred maintenance, no surprises
  • Review property financials weekly and catch issues early

Financial Operations

  • Ensure bills are paid, loans serviced, accounts reconciled
  • Coordinate with accountants on taxes, filings, and reporting
  • Track cash flow across the portfolio
  • Find and resolve issues before they become problems

Staff & Vendor Management

  • Lead, grow and manage local team in Colombia
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and service providers
  • Ensure accountability and execution across the board

General Business Operations

  • Communicate clearly with the ownership and team on priorities and execution
  • Weekly syncs to align on what matters
  • Handle day-to-day so strategic work can move forward
  • Handle whatever needs handling — no task too small, no problem ignored

What You Bring

  • 4-8 years of experience in operations, business management, real estate, asset management, or a similar role
  • Fluent English — written and spoken. You'll communicate with Americans daily.
  • Experience managing people, vendors, or contractors
  • Comfortable with financials — budgets, cash flow, basic accounting
  • Real estate or property management experience is a plus
  • Based in Medellín or willing to relocate

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base:
    $ to $ COP/month depending on experience
  • Performance bonus:
    Up to 25% of annual base, tied to business results
  • Total target compensation:
    10-15M COP/month
  • Growth:
    As the business scales, there's opportunity to participate in the growth of the property management division beyond salary

This is an independent contractor role. Paid twice monthly. You handle your own taxes and benefits.
