OBJECTIVE

is responsible for the accurate collection, handling, and delivery of samples directly from production lines and field sites, strictly following technical protocols, safety standards, and company procedures. The role is primarily field-based, supporting operational excellence and client satisfaction through hands-on activities at client facilities and remote locations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sample Collection & Handling
    • Collect water and hydrocarbon samples from production lines and field sites as per client and company requirements.
    • Label samples with well name, date, and time; ensure all samples are logged and entered into the company database system.
    • Prepare samples for shipment, maintaining chain of custody and compliance with hazardous shipping protocols.
  • Field Operations
    • Conduct field analysis and sampling in accordance with Field Services Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Comply with safety regulations of clients and company Health, Safety, and Quality Management Systems.
    • Maintain communication with supervisors regarding incidents, equipment, and sampling activities.
    • Operate field tools as required.
    • Complete all worksheets, data forms, and administrative records legibly and file appropriately.
  • Quality & Compliance
    • Perform duties in accordance with approved QA procedures and technical standards (ASTM, UOP, IP, etc.).
    • Contribute to the effectiveness of Management Systems, including performance improvement and reduction of nonconformities.
  • Safety & Communication
    • Use appropriate protective equipment and follow all safety signage and protocols.
    • Participate in safety and procedural training sessions as required.
    • Advise supervisor if personnel, equipment, or consumables are insufficient for workload.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma required; clean driving license is a pre-requisite.
  • No prior experience required, but previous field experience preferred.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and adapt to changing environments.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS
  • Standing for extended periods; manual handling of sample containers within recommended limits.
  • Occasional lifting, repetitive movements (labeling containers), and operation of field equipment.
  • Adaptability to weather conditions and changes in the physical environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Safety, efficiency, and physical comfort are prioritized, with appropriate protective equipment and clear signage.
  • Functional spaces at client facilities (field) and adequate communication channels.
  • Participation in safety and procedural training sessions is required.
