In this role you'll:

• Develop test strategies and plans, ensuring traceability to requirements and compliance with CI/CD, Green IT, and industry standards (e.g., ISTQB).
• Design, prepare, and execute functional and non-functional test cases; continuously update regression suites as features evolve.
• Automate tests when needed, contribute to automation framework improvements.
• Manage defects by logging issues, determining severity, supporting resolutions, and verifying fixes before release.
• Report testing progress to stakeholders and ensure visibility of milestones.
• Participate in specification and architecture reviews, providing feedback on potential risks and gaps.
• Mentor newcomers, support QA peers, and facilitate knowledge sharing within the QA community.
• Efficiently use and suggest improvements to QA tools and frameworks.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to measuring and reducing the environmental impact of QA activities.
   

About the candidate:

• Requires a university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
• Possess at least 2–5+ years of experience in full-stack development and testing, with a preference for automation testing experience.
• Familiarity with GIT is valued, and experience using Jira or working within Scrum and Agile frameworks would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Octane, Confluence, Selenium, travel industry (airlines/airports), NoSQL databases (Couchbase), and cloud platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus.
• Strong oral, written, and analytical problem-solving skills required.
• English proficiency is required.
