we are looking for a highly experienced and motivated
Senior Software Engineer
to help drive the technical direction of our platform and provide leadership across engineering teams. This role is ideal for someone with strong Java expertise, experience building scalable systems, and the ability to contribute both strategically and hands-on. While the core focus is backend and architecture, the ideal candidate should also feel comfortable collaborating with frontend teams and working with React-based applications when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions using a microservices architecture.
  • Define and drive the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and evolving industry trends.
  • Write, review, and maintain high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, promoting DevOps best practices and ensuring smooth deployment processes.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Quality Assurance, to deliver robust solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve system bottlenecks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their integration into existing systems.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams and feel comfortable working in environments that use React.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience
    , with at least 2 years in a Senior or Lead role.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, with experience building and maintaining complex applications (microservices experience is a plus).
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and related tools/frameworks such as Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Solid experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, API Gateway).
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Comfort working with React-based frontend applications and collaborating across the full stack.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and influence technical teams.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering scalable, high-performance systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, particularly in complex architectural scenarios.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
