Full Stack Developer (Python/Django + React)

About The Role
As a Full Stack Developer, you'll lead end-to-end feature delivery across backend and frontend for a fast-paced, detail-oriented engagement with a highly technical client. You will take ownership of complex problems, collaborate directly with stakeholders, and ship high-quality, well-tested code while influencing technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python (Django)
• Develop performant, responsive UIs with React
• Own feature delivery from requirements through deployment and support
• Collaborate directly with a technically savvy client; communicate trade-offs and recommendations
• Review code, manage pull requests, and uphold engineering best practices using GitHub workflows
• Implement and maintain integration points, APIs, and data models
• Apply basic DevOps practices: SSH access, secret management, and deployment awareness
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize across the stack
• Document systems, decisions, and operational runbooks
• Other duties as assigned

About You
Qualifications & Skills

• 5–8 years of relevant full stack development experience
• Strong backend expertise with Python and Django; solid understanding of relational data modeling and RESTful APIs
• Proficient with React, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and component-based architecture
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable partnering directly with detail-oriented, technical stakeholders
• Autonomous work style with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
• Hands-on experience with GitHub workflows (branches, PRs, code reviews, CI triggers)
• Basic DevOps familiarity, including SSH, secret management, and deployment processes
• Nice to have: Go (Golang) exposure; CI/CD pipelines; AWS/GCP; leadership/mentorship experience
• Strong problem-solving, systems thinking, and attention to detail
