Vacation Package Sales Representative

Location: On-Site Only Barranquilla

Schedule: Full availability required

Commissions: Unlimited commissions

Position Summary

The Vacation Package Sales Representative is responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls with the goal of selling timeshare tour-required promotional vacation packages. This role demands strong communication skills, proven sales expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding company values: Integrity, Passion, and Work Ethic.

Schedule
  • Training:
  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Operations:
  • Weekends alternate: one weekend off, the next covering either Saturday or Sunday.
  • Weekend shifts: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (outside daylight savings).
  • Full availability required.
  • Overall operation hours:
  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 11:30 PM
  • Saturday–Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
  • Remain available on the dialer during scheduled shifts and answer calls promptly.
  • Engage prospects in a courteous, professional manner while following the approved script.
  • Apply qualification criteria accurately and explain any financial implications for non-compliance.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of destinations, resorts, and promotional packages.
  • Complete vacation bookings quickly and accurately, ensuring verification and resolving issues immediately.
  • Meet or exceed minimum production and conversion goals.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months–1 year in sales (telemarketing or inside sales preferred).
  • English proficiency: B2+ to C1 (proof required: reading, numbers, dates, general communication).
  • Strong interpersonal and telephone skills; ability to convert inquiries into bookings.
  • Clear and effective communication with customers, team members, and management.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division using whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence, and present information effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills: define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with booking systems.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
