CONTEXTO ORGANIZACIONAL:
El Programa Mundial de Alimentos (PMA) de las Naciones Unidas es el mayor organismo humanitario de lucha contra el hambre del mundo. En promedio, el PMA llega cada año a más de 90 millones de personas con ayuda alimentaria en 80 países. Unas personas trabajan para la organización a nivel mundial, la mayoría en zonas remotas, atendiendo directamente a los más vulnerables.

En Colombia, el apoyo que el PMA brinda al gobierno nacional responde a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenibles (ODS) 2 y 17 y en donde las actividades del PMA en Colombia se concentran en las poblaciones más vulnerables, que incluyen víctimas de la violencia, comunidades marginadas y grupos étnicos. El objetivo es reconstruir y fortalecer sus fuentes de subsistencia, asegurando que tengan adecuado acceso en todo momento a dietas nutritivas y diversas e incrementando su capacidad para recuperarse y adaptarse a los cambios climáticos. Esto se hace de manera progresiva a través del desarrollo de las capacidades de autoridades locales para implementar programas responsables que contribuyan a reducir la inseguridad alimentaria y la malnutrición.

OBJETIVO:
Bajo la supervisión de la
Tecnóloga en Alimentos
, el Asistente de Calidad e Inocuidad debe apoyar la implementación, mantenimiento y supervisión de las Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura, cumplimiento de lineamientos de calidad e inocuidad y las leyes vigentes aplicables en las operaciones de la oficina del PMA en Colombia.

RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES (lista indicativa y no exhaustiva):

• Desarrollar informes de seguimiento relativos a la calidad e inocuidad en los servicios prestados en los comedores comunitarios que operan bajo las operaciones de la oficina de Colombia del PMA.
• Realizar seguimiento y apoyar en los cierres de los planes de acción de las novedades identificadas durante las inspecciones realizadas por entes gubernamentales y/o inspecciones internas.
• Contribuir a la elaboración y/o aplicación de protocolos y herramientas relacionadas a la calidad e inocuidad alimentaria, velando por la armonización de las políticas del PMA y alineados a la normatividad nacional.
• Garantizar que los alimentos recibidos en los comedores, así como su almacenamiento, preparación y distribución a la población se encuentre apto para consumo, asegurando la inocuidad en toda la cadena alimentaria.
• Apoyar en la generación de respuesta ante situaciones de emergencia que puedan impactar a la salud de la población atendida.
• En caso de incidentes relacionados con la inocuidad de los alimentos, apoyar los ejercicios de investigación que permitan documentar y compartir las lecciones aprendidas, para reducir la repetición del incidente.
• Brindar asistencia en el fortalecimiento de capacidades al personal manipulador de alimentos, en temas relacionados a la calidad e inocuidad.
• Otras actividades según se requiera.

CUALIFICACIONES Y EXPERIENCIA ESTÁNDAR MÍNIMAS:
Formación:
Finalización del ciclo de educación secundaria. Deseable, título profesional en ingeniería de alimentos, nutrición, agricultura o afines a las funciones del cargo.

Experiencia:
Mínimo cuatro (4) años de experiencia en aseguramiento, control y/o gestión de la calidad en industria de alimentos y/o en proyectos de alimentación a población vulnerable (ej. PAE).

Experiencia de trabajo en el uso de MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) es esencial. Conocimiento práctico de Internet y Microsoft Outlook es deseable.

Idiomas:
Comprensión oral y escrita en el idioma español.
