Are you a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment? We are looking for a Payroll Associate to join our team. This is a challenging position that requires the ability to think and react quickly while delivering top-tier service to our clients.

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be the backbone of our client's payroll operations, ensuring accurate processing, compliance, and exceptional customer care at every step of the cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Management: Schedule and manage multiple client payrolls, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately, timely, and in full compliance.
  • Tax & Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of proper payroll taxation, including the calculation of wage garnishments, child support orders, and tax levies.
  • Reporting: Process accurate quarter-end and year-end reporting; provide specialized Ad Hoc reports based on specific client needs.
  • System Navigation: Work across various payroll environments to manage time and attendance, processing, and reporting.
  • Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries, resolving system or process questions with speed and professionalism.
  • End-to-End Coordination: Manage client projects and coordinate all payroll activities from initiation to completion.
  • Excellence in Service: Deliver the highest level of accountability, follow-up, and "follow-through" to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements & Skills

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in Customer Service or a client-facing role.
  • Communication: Strong phone presence and excellent verbal/written communication skills in English.
  • Organization: Proven ability in time management, problem-solving, and prioritizing tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn and navigate complex payroll software and reporting systems quickly.
