ABOUT THE ROLE

Join as a Senior AWS/Security Networking Engineer to shape secure, scalable cloud networks that drive business impact. You'll influence design decisions, optimize infrastructure, and collaborate across teams, gaining hands-on experience with AWS and security while growing in a dynamic, innovation-focused environment. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Design, implement, and optimize AWS networking solutions (VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, PrivateLink, Route 53, ALB/NLB, etc.);
  • Define and enforce security standards in alignment with NIST and CIS benchmarks;
  • Conduct network and security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and drive remediation plans;
  • Support incident response and troubleshooting across the network and security stack;
  • Automate routine tasks using infrastructure-as-code and security-as-code best practices;
  • Partner with governance, risk, and compliance teams to maintain audit readiness.
MUST HAVES
  • 3+ years of experience;
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty certification;
  • Networking expertise: core networking concepts (routing, DNS, firewalls, load balancers);
  • Knowledge of AWS networking constructs (VPCs, subnets, security groups, NACLs, Transit Gateway, etc.);
  • Security expertise: strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and CIS benchmarks;
  • Hands-on experience with AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, Shield, etc.);
  • Understanding of encryption, key management, and secure data flows;
  • Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform);
  • Familiarity with SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention, and vulnerability scanning tools;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative environment;
  • Upper-intermediate English level.
NICE TO HAVES
  • Working knowledge of developing basic REST API services;
  • AWS Security Specialty Certification;
  • Security expertise: knowledge of NIST frameworks and CIS benchmarks.
