As a Localization Quality and Automation Specialist, you'll define and scale the quality backbone of our global content operations—connecting machine translation capabilities with premium customer experiences. You will architect and run the quality framework, metrics, and automation that elevate linguistic output while accelerating delivery through modern tooling.

• Design and implement a localization quality framework, including automated QA checks, linguistic sign-off workflows, and error categorization
• Establish and operationalize objective MT quality metrics (e.g., MQM, DQF, BLEU, TER) across languages and content types
• Automate workflow bottlenecks by building or integrating scripts, APIs, and tools for QA, handoffs, and feedback loops
• Translate linguistic quality data into technical insights for ML teams; identify error patterns and improve MT model performance
• Analyze quality datasets, build dashboards/reports, and present actionable insights to stakeholders
• Evaluate, integrate, and manage localization tooling (CAT, TMS, QA checkers) and assess new technologies for fit
• Partner cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement across localization, engineering, and product
• Other duties as assigned

• 14+ years of relevant work experience, including 5+ years in localization engineering, quality assurance, or tool management
• Strong understanding of linguistic quality principles, error typology, and industry-standard metrics (MQM, DQF, etc.)
• Proven experience with localization process automation (scripting, API integrations, regex) and tool selection/integration
• Familiarity with MT concepts, post-editing workflows, and MT quality assessment methods
• Proficiency in analyzing large datasets and delivering data-driven recommendations
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences and vice versa
• Nice to have: Hands-on experience with major TMS and CAT tools; scripting in Python or JavaScript; background in computational linguistics or data science.
