Loan Analyst

We are looking for a Loan Analyst to work deals through the system to ensure excellent service for the borrowers. The Loan Analyst will interact with borrowers and investors in our marketplace, as well as provide support through all stages of the sales process.

Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Manage pipeline of all deals
• Open and manage cases/exceptions/escalations
• Deal screening
• Review approvals and declines
• Enter application data into Loanspark Loan Operating System
• Field inbound questions
• Assist with closing document tasks
• Manage verifications for underwriting requirements
• Contact state and federal government agencies in order to assist in the funding of loans
• Build and manage relationships with internal and external contacts on the borrower and investor side
• Package / pre-underwrite loan applications for submission to investors for final decisioning
• Run and deliver reports

Qualifications for Success:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Underwriting processes
  (Mandatory)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Loan Processing
  (Mandatory)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Lending Services
  (Mandatory)
• Quick learner, Strong work ethic, Well organized, Excellent follow up skills
• Strong analytical and goal-oriented mindset
• Self-starter who is comfortable working in a start-up environment with a high degree of autonomy
• Excellent communications, Ability to build rapport and negotiation skills
• Experience in customer support preferred
• Excellent time management and priority setting
