The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join Arches during a pivotal growth phase and work directly with our Office Manager to build our HR and administrative functions from scratch. You'll gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle while supporting the operational foundation of our newest office.
As we scale from 15 to 50+ employees over the next year, you'll help shape our people practices, establish key partnerships in the local market, and position yourself for future HR leadership opportunities.
What You'll Do
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (40%)
Talent Sourcing
- Identify and build talent pipelines across Colombia, LatAm, and the US.
- Research talent markets and develop creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent in a competitive market.
Employer Branding & Partnerships
- Design engaging job descriptions and compensation packages that attract high-quality applicants.
- Collaborate with our Marketing team on university and professional partnerships.
- Help build Arches' employer brand in the Bogota market through strategic outreach and engagement.
Employee Engagement & Retention (30%)
Culture & Feedback
- Conduct regular check-ins with team members to understand their experience and identify areas for improvement.
- Surface potential issues early, gather insights, and partner with leadership on solutions.
Retention Programs
- Design programs and initiatives that strengthen team connections and employee satisfaction.
- Help foster a positive, growth-oriented workplace culture.
Administration & Office Operations (30%)
Operational Support
- Support day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks.
- Assist with employment contracting processes and documentation.
- Learn and apply Colombian labor law and compliance.
Continuous Learning
- Develop expertise in local employment law and best practices.
- Build knowledge of HR systems and processes in a high-growth environment.
- Gain exposure to building operational infrastructure from the ground up.
What We're Looking For
Required
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
- Strong interest in HR, people operations, and organizational development.
- Excellent communication in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Preferred
- Previous internship or project experience in HR, recruitment, or administration.
- Familiarity with Colombian labor law and employment regulations.
- Experience with campus recruitment and employer branding initiatives.
- Interest in or exposure to the consulting, professional services, or sectors startup.
