About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Employer Branding Specialist who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.

As our Employer Branding Specialist, you will be the driving force behind positioning Sezzle as a top employer in the fintech space. You'll own our talent-focused social media presence and lead our career events strategy, showcasing our culture and attracting exceptional talent to join our mission.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive employer branding strategy across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to amplify Sezzle's culture and employee value proposition
  • Create engaging content that highlights life at Sezzle, employee stories, company milestones, and career opportunities
  • Plan, coordinate, and represent Sezzle at career fairs, university recruiting events, and industry conferences
  • Build and manage relationships with universities, bootcamps, and professional organizations to strengthen our talent pipeline
  • Collaborate with the People team and hiring managers to understand talent needs and craft targeted employer branding campaigns
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics and event ROI to continuously optimize our employer branding efforts
  • Manage employer branding presence on platforms like Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and Indeed
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure brand consistency across all talent-focused communications
  • Champion and evolve our employee advocacy program to amplify authentic voices

What We Look For:

  • 3+ years of experience in employer branding, talent marketing, recruitment marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of building and executing social media strategies with measurable results
  • Experience planning and executing career events, job fairs, or similar talent acquisition initiatives
  • Strong content creation skills with the ability to tell compelling stories across multiple formats
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to inform strategy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in fintech, tech, or high-growth startup environments
  • Familiarity with employer branding tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Glassdoor, etc.)
  • Video production or graphic design skills
  • Experience with employee advocacy platforms
