Market Access Manager - Ophthalmology
Position: Major Tasks

  • Support the pricing manager in the consolidation of the pricing strategy of the Ophthalmology Portfolio in the PACA countries, ensuring its compliance, monitoring, and control
  • Generate activities or strategies that allow the high clinical value of the portfolio in charge to be reflected through its price
  • Actively participate in the identification, analysis, and impact of the different administrative acts and their updating which could affect the business
  • Ensure a first level of engagement with Key Opinion Leaders and key actors of the Health System
  • Support MACs Team in identifying access and reimbursement mechanisms for the Ophthalmology portfolio
  • Accompany Sales and Access managers in consolidating the access and reimbursement strategy for the products in the nodes under their responsibility
  • Support the Access and commercial leads of the countries in the construction of comprehensive strategies aligned with the needs and drivers of the different actors
  • Lead the definition of the company's bidding and negotiation strategy, articulating the needs of the actors with the decision drivers
  • Develop a first level of engagement with local, regional, and global access actors, allowing the development of key objectives and actions for the franchise
  • Ensure a close relationship with Chapter Heads, Franchise leaders, Product Team Leads, and Medical teams by articulating comprehensive access and reimbursement strategies aligned with the franchises' objectives

Who You Are:

  • University degree (e.g. Medical Doctor, Business Administrator, Economist, or administrative professions), Knowledge of Health Economy, Access projects and strategies, as well as early access programs, RSA, and trained in negotiation.
  • A minimum of 5 years of Market Access or Pharmaceutical Access Consulting experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to successfully work across functional and geographic boundaries, preferably across multiple countries/market types/access models.
  • Proven ability to clearly define access questions/problems and develop potential solutions and frameworks to apply across market archetypes.
  • Demonstrated ability to approach and engage external organizations ranging from big companies to startups in meaningful discussions with the goal of a future potential collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence individuals across a wide variety of functions, especially in Commercial, Market Access, Pricing, Finance, and Access Policy.
  • Advanced level of English
