LatAm - Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior SDET to join our team located in LATAM.

As a Senior SDET you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

• Participate in test planning and requirements analysis, ensuring test coverage aligns with business and technical needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Implement and enhance test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and reliability.
• Work with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand application functionality and identify areas for test automation.
• Execute automated regression, functional, and performance tests, analyzing results and reporting defects.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices for software quality assurance, including CI/CD integration.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and collaborate effectively with team members of various experience levels.

*Working a schedule aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST). The expected start time is 5 AM PST / 7 AM MX / 8 AM COL / 10 AM ARG-CHL-UY.

• 5+ years of experience in test automation development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python (preferred) for test automation.
• Experience with test automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, PyTest, and API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database testing practices.
• Expertise in performance and scalability testing tools such as JMeter
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Self-starter with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Solid experience in caching and search engine and caching such technologies such as Elastic Search and Redis is a plus.
