Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented 
Export Agent
 with at least two years of experience in U.S. export logistics (freight forwarding, CFS, trucking, or drayage). You will coordinate export shipments, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain strong communication with carriers, partners, and clients to guarantee smooth operations.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and process export documentation.
  • Verify and analyze customer-approved quotes.
  • Schedule and coordinate domestic pickups with shippers.
  • Manage the logistics of ocean and air freight shipments.
  • Maintain close communication with shipping lines and airlines.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Request and validate export documents (invoices, packing lists, SLI/POA, certificates of origin, etc.).
  • Coordinate international transportation, warehousing, and transloading.
  • Communicate regularly with freight forwarders and logistics partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients and service providers.
  • Proactively follow up with customers and suppliers to prevent delays.

 Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in U.S. export logistics (freight forwarding, CFS, trucking, or drayage).
  • Bilingual: 
    Spanish & English
     required.
  • Experience with 
    CargoWise
     preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of export documentation and customs regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office.
