TelevisaUnivision is seeking an enthusiastic Digital Content Producer. We are looking for a person who can transform television content to digital platforms.

About You
The ideal candidate should have knowledge of editing video, editing photo and excellent writing skills. The digital content producer will work closely with the digital producers in Miami supporting them with stories in video format; therefore, this person should have a demonstrated passion for video and current affairs, US politics and Hispanic issues in the US.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

  • Cut and edit television news clips.
  • Correctly draft titles and news summaries for the clips.
  • Download from agencies or edit a promo image for each clip.
  • Transform Tv content into digital content.
  • Publish the clips on different digital platforms.
  • Perform SEO for each content.
  • Distribute all clipping content on social media platforms.
  • Publishing on YouTube.
  • Handle live coverage on our web and social media accounts (mainly YouTube and Facebook)
  • Collaborate with digital producers in Miami to create content from televised videos.
  • Availability for special coverages outside of regular working hours, such as breaking news.
  • Notify completed content through various internal communication channels.

YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)

  • 3+ years of experience working in a writing environment.
  • Must be able to use editing programs such as Adobe Premier and After Effects and Photoshop.
  • Experience on digital writing, creating content and upload it on digital platforms.
  • Excellent grammar skills. Flawless communication skills in Spanish, both oral and written.
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, Film, Video Production, Arts or Communications. Also, technical education.
  • Experience in visual storytelling and digital video narratives.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and provide precise and clear instructions.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Comfortable using highly technical systems.
  • Performs well in a fast-paced environment and last-minute situations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be willing to work from the office.
  • You would work evening-night shifts.
  • 5 days a week, with two days off. You would work weekends. Compensatory days off for working weekends (1 or 2 days depending on the hours worked).
  • Employment and education background will be verified.
