DevOps Engineer

Job Title

Summary of the role:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will build and maintain infrastructure and automation pipelines for development and deployment. You'll collaborate with software, QA, and product teams to deliver robust, scalable, cloud-ready services. From troubleshooting incidents to optimizing performance, your work ensures premium customer support and bridges new software solutions with client success.
 

In this role you'll: 

• Design and implement scalable DevOps solutions.
• Identify risks and influence technical decisions in complex scenarios.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and propose process improvements.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Embed DevOps best practices throughout the software lifecycle with development teams.
• Monitor and address system performance and reliability issues.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes containerized environments.
• Ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
• Support incident response and conduct root cause analysis for resilience.
• Mentor junior team members and support cross-functional collaboration

About  the ideal candidate: 

• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Git, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker, as well as orchestration frameworks including Kubernetes and Argo CD.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code solutions, notably Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cloud architectures, and FinOps best practices.
• Knowledgeable in monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Awareness of security principles and emerging AI technologies, including GitHub Copilot.
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, coupled with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proven capacity to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Background in agile development environments, with a dedication to automation and continuous process improvement.
• Fluency in English is required.
