We are seeking an LATAM SAP Business One (B1) Lead to join our global IT team. This role will focus on supporting new implementations, managing the day-to-day operations of SAP B1 across our LATAM instances, ensuring seamless support for users, driving consistency, and overseeing system improvements. The ideal candidate will combine deep ERP process knowledge with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • LATAM Rollouts & Implementation Oversight
  • Oversee the rollout of new SAP B1 instances, partnering with implementation teams to ensure deliverables align with business objectives and global consistency standards.

  • Act as the primary interface between business users, IT team members, and implementation partners to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout SAP B1 projects.

  • SAP B1 Enhancement & Incident Management

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points and lead enhancement projects to harmonize & optimize SAP B1 processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort.
  • Manage and resolve support tickets across Neogen's global SAP B1 instances, ensuring prompt resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP B1-related inquiries, troubleshooting, and escalations.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of recurring issues and solutions to improve support efficiency.

  • Define and promote best practices for SAP B1 usage and support across global teams.

  • Audit and Compliance Support

  • Ensure SAP B1 processes and configurations adhere to compliance standards and best practices.

  • Ensure all audit controls and security protocols are followed and coordinate evidence preparation and deficiency remediation with internal and external audit.

  • Regional Support & Escalation

  • Serve as an escalation point for IT questions and issues within the LATAM region. Coordinate with the appropriate owner in IT to support issue resolution and closure.

  • Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of ERP processes and experience leading current & target state process mapping workshops.
  • Experience leading IT projects and managing IT documentation. Experience leading ERP implementations a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish. Fluency in Portuguese preferred but not required.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to facilitate resolutions for complex functional and technical issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage vendors and hold them accountable to action plans.
  • ERP experience is required. Experience with SAP Business One a plus.
  • Broad awareness and understanding of IT processes outside of ERP is preferred.
