Division Controller – Meiborg Brothers Inc.

Location: Bogotá (On-site)

Schedule: Regular (M to F)

Salary: 7,000,000 – 8,000,000 COP

Bonus/Commissions: None

Assessment: Yes (Basic–Intermediate | Minimum passing score: 60%)

About the Role

Meiborg Brothers Inc. is seeking a Division Controller to lead the accounting and financial operations for our business units. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial leadership, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Division Controller will oversee financial processes, support strategic decisions, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting operations for assigned business units.
  • Lead the forecasting and budgeting process for each business unit.
  • Prepare customer mix margin reports and compare performance against forecast.
  • Develop proformas for potential new warehousing facilities and calculate ROI.
  • Prepare customer pricing using internal pricing models.
  • Perform monthly financial close activities and prepare financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality control of financial transactions and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
  • Master's degree (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and support various business units.
  • Intermediate English level preferred.
