This is a remote position.

Scheduled: Monday-Friday 7am-11:00am PST 

Job Description: You'll be the creative force behind an emerging brand's social media presence, transforming raw materials into engaging content that connects with families and educational partners. This role offers the rare opportunity to build a social media strategy from scratch, working closely with a passionate business owner who values creativity and authentic storytelling. You'll have creative freedom to develop content that makes a real difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute organic social media strategies across multiple platforms
  • Transform provided videos, pictures, and thematic direction into polished reels, posts, and testimonial videos
  • Create engaging content that showcases services and builds trust with family audiences
  • Manage ongoing social media posting schedules and community engagement
  • Collaborate directly with the business owner on messaging and brand direction
  • Develop content creation workflows that scale with business growth
  • Monitor performance and optimize content based on audience engagement
  • Build authentic connections with families and educational institutions through social storytelling
Requirements
  • Proven experience with organic social media management and growth strategies
  • Strong video editing and graphic design skills for creating reels and posts
  • Ability to take creative direction and transform concepts into compelling visual content
  • Understanding of family-focused and education sector social media best practices
  • Excellent communication skills for regular collaboration with business owner
  • Bonus if you have experience with testimonial video creation
  • It helps if you're familiar with service-based business marketing
