.NET Developer / Application Engineer – AKS & Telemetry

Location: Hybrid Bogotá

Contract: Permanent

Salary: $14,200,000 COP per month

English: Intermediate - Advanced

Role Description

We are looking for a .NET Developer / Application Engineer with solid technical experience and the ability to work in collaborative and demanding environments. This role combines development, testing, monitoring, and support skills, ensuring that applications are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

The ideal candidate has experience in C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), and telemetry tools, as well as a strong focus on quality and problem solving.

Main responsibilities*

Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET.

Design scalable and efficient solutions, implementing improvements and new features.

Configure, deploy, and manage applications in AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).

Monitor the performance of Kubernetes clusters and resolve infrastructure incidents.

Design, execute, and automate tests to ensure software quality.

Implement App Telemetry tools (Application Insights, OpenTelemetry) for performance and availability monitoring.

Analyze metrics and logs to optimize performance and configure preventive alerts.

Provide technical support, perform problem analysis (triage), and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams.

*Requirements*

6 to 7 years of experience in software development and application support.

Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core.

Solid knowledge of AKS, Kubernetes, Podman, Helm, and Kubectl.

Experience in App Telemetry (Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, or similar).

Troubleshooting, technical analysis, and teamwork skills.

Intermediate to advanced English (ability to communicate with global teams).
