Junior Software Developer

Job Title

Amadeus is at the forefront of improving traveler experience. The Airport Companion App is a major contributor to this improvement. It provides a mobile solution for roaming agents at the airport. Agents equipped with mobile devices (such as iPads) can serve the travelers wherever they are in the airport, reducing the need to use physical desks. Initially designed for iPad (Apple) users only, we have just started an exciting transformation to support more devices and platforms (e.g., Android) and increase adoption among our airline customers.

We are looking for a Junior software developer engineer (DEV) to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile software applications. You will work closely with other developers, QAs, UX and PDAs, using agile methodology (SAFE) to deliver high-quality code and innovative solutions that meet airlines business requirements. Besides you will work in a multicultural environment with colleagues based across the world in Dallas and London

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile software applications.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver product features.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Apply best practices in software development to ensure high standards of quality.
   

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience..
• Proven experience as a software developer, with a strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in the following programming languages: Angular, C++ is a plus
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Agile methodologies knowledge either Scrum or SAFE,
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Good English communication skills.
