About the role
The Creative Services Manager leads the day-to-day operations of the Internal Creative Agency's project intake, workflow, and cross-functional alignment. Acting as the primary bridge between internal stakeholders (Brand Strategy, Channel Marketing, Product, etc.) and the Creative team, this role ensures that creative work is strategically grounded, efficiently executed, and consistently delivering business impact.
In addition to driving creative partnership and operational excellence, the Creative Services Manager oversees two Project Managers, providing leadership, coaching, and support to ensure consistent processes, high-quality execution, and strong collaboration across all initiatives.
What you'll do
- Serve as the main point of contact for creative requests and campaign needs from internal partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Lead project intake and creative briefing, translating business objectives into actionable and inspiring creative briefs in partnership with Sr. Creative Manager, Brand Concept.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure creative requests are strategically prioritized and aligned with organizational goals.
- Build trusted cross-department relationships and serve as a liaison who aligns creative and business objectives while managing schedules, resources, milestones, and roadblocks.
- Oversee creative workflow from concept through delivery, ensuring projects stay on scope, on time, and on brand.
- Communicate project status, deliverables, and approvals proactively to all stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.
- Facilitate feedback loops between stakeholders and creative teams to ensure clarity, alignment, and productive collaboration.
- Provide creative context, insights, and strategic input during briefings, reviews, and presentations.
- Manage, mentor, and develop two Project Managers, ensuring clear expectations, strong workflow practices, and balanced workloads across the Creative Services team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in account management, marketing, or project management within a creative, marketing, or digital agency environment.
- Strong understanding of creative development processes — from concept to production to delivery.
- Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship management skills with a client-service mindset.
- Proficiency in project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Workfront, or ) and collaboration tools.
- Strong strategic thinking and creative judgment with the ability to translate business objectives into creative direction.
- Ability to balance creative advocacy with operational execution and accountability.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with creative, strategy, operations, and production teams.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable with a passion for creative storytelling and brand building.
