Role: Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Medellin or Bogota, Colombia

Contract Position

Requirements:

  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • B1 English speaker

Skills & Experience:

  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • Expert-level knowledge of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience with automation and orchestration tools.
  • Deep understanding of performance optimization and scalability.
  • Experience in designing and implementing highly available and resilient systems.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on system reliability and efficiency.
  • Ability to drive innovation and improvements in SRE practices.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship at an expert level.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of SRE best practices.
  • Define and enforce SLOs (Service Level Objectives).
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide expert support
