A Day in the Life
This is an exciting opportunity for a high-potential, analytical, proactive candidate to join the US Rebates Team. This position will focus on Cardiovascular Portfolio rebate initiatives in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages continuous learning, and promotes innovation.

The Rebate Analyst – Agreement Maintenance is responsible for accurately uploading and maintaining rebate agreements in SAP/Vistex. This role ensures contractual terms and accounting documents are correctly reflected in the system, supporting Finance, Contracting, and Sales teams. The analyst will focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the Agreement Maintenance process.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Upload and maintain rebate agreements in SAP/Vistex, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Review and validate accounting documents generated from rebate agreements to ensure proper financial posting.
  • Support issue resolution by identifying errors, analyzing root causes, and escalating when needed.
  • Collaborate with Contracting, Finance, and Sales teams to align on agreement requirements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Document procedures and updates to support process consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to team metrics by meeting SLA and accuracy targets.
  • Support audits and compliance activities by maintaining accurate records of agreement uploads.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy in Agreement Maintenance.
  • Provide regular updates to the Senior Supervisor on progress, challenges, and risks.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • High level of English Comprehension and Conversation
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required, or an advanced degree without a specified number of years of experience.
  • Experience in rebate operations, contracting, finance, or data management roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Vistex is beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Business Objects is desirable.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines are important.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities are needed.
  • Organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple priorities are required.
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences are essential.
  • Oral and written communication experience with customers and internal business partners is expected.
  • Reliable work ethic and flexibility during peak periods are valued.
  • Detail-oriented and organizational skills with demonstrated multi-tasking and change management proficiency are required.
  • The position involves working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and focus on achieving results is also necessary.

Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Working knowledge of Vistex rebate software (Vistex is a module within the broader ERP system of SAP)
  • Experience with MS Access
  • Work experience cross-functionally partnering with professionals in various disciplines
  • Ability to track complex issues, maintaining clear notes on progress to enable others to interpret open issue status
  • Aptitude for quantitative and analytical skills
  • Experience translating large amounts of data into actionable insights and coherent strategies
