Your role

As a LAN Switching Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our network infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in maintaining network connectivity, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to users across the organization.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Administering and monitoring network performance to ensure optimal functionality and availability
• Troubleshooting network issues promptly to minimize disruption to business operations
• Maintaining network devices including routers, switches, and hubs to ensure they operate efficiently
• Providing responsive technical support to network users to resolve connectivity or performance-related issues
• Documenting and maintaining detailed records of network configurations and resolved issues to build our knowledge base

Your profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in network administration or related IT roles
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing Local Area Networks (LANs)
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching technologies
• Proficiency with Layer 2 protocols including STP, Etherchannel, VTP, and stacking
• Working knowledge of additional protocols such as QoS and Layer 2/3 ACLs
• Good command of English (B2 level) in both written and verbal communication
