Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of the Communications team by ensuring that specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed/delivered in support of communications and team strategies and objectives. Ensures that all activities carried out comply with current regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• He champions an internal customer-centric culture to deepen customer relationships and leverage the Bank's broader relationships, systems, and knowledge.
• Understand the different areas of GBS to ensure that their communication is aligned with business objectives. Creation and alignment of ScotiaGBS' overall and internal and external digital strategy.
• Guarantee the monitoring and compliance of the same.
• Manage Strategy, KPIs, processes, policies and requirements to support the execution and results of Communications Lead the internal communication team, generate good teamwork that meets the efficiencies and commitments that the area requires.
• Actively follow Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct and Global Communications Principles, Align communications to global campaigns and their requirements, to ensure their reach and correct execution
• Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be incorporate into in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML and ATF sanctions and conduct risk.

Education

• Profile in corporate, financial, FinTech, and insurance companies. Service companies. Employer brand. Technology Consultants
• Business Administration – Marketing & Communications
• Experience in Leadership
• Experience in Internal and External Communications
• Experience with Excel, MS Office, PowerBI and AI
• Previous experience as a designer
• Bilingual English/Spanish language skills (B2 English level)

Working Conditions

Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
