Our client is looking for a Sr Finance Manager to join their team in Bogota. The individual will be responsible for the Financial and Management Reporting of Colombia company's entities and to ensure that internal processes are in compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will come with strong accounting knowledge and skills and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced and hands-on environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all finance and accounting matters;
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans;
  • Assist in ensuring effective internal control procedures and compliance of accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements;
  • Collaborate with HQ Finance to ensure local practices are in accordance to Group's policies and local regulations;
  • Develop financial and tax strategies for the companies in the regions;
  • Partner with business team to execute business strategy;
  • Represent the companies with the external parties, like banks, tax authorities and other;
  • Plan and involve in process improvement projects on an on-going basis;
Requirements:
  • • Minimum 12 years of working experience, preferably with audit managerial experience in Big 4;
  • Proven leadership track record;
  • Able to work independently and a strong team player; 
  • Experience in tech-company is a plus;
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting;
  • Advance/ Fluent level of English;
  • Familiar with US GAAP;
  • Familiar with Colombian taxes; 
  • Experience with process improvement; 
  • Knowledge in ORACLE and Hyperion accounting software.
