Role Purpose

The Technical Instructor (Automotive) will play a pivotal role in advancing technical excellence across the organization. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high‑impact training programs—both in-person and virtual—that elevate diagnostic capabilities, product knowledge, and service standards. 

By combining deep automotive expertise with modern learning methodologies, the trainer ensures that technical teams remain at the forefront of evolving automotive technologies, including hybrid and electric systems.

Key Accountabilities

  • Content Development: Create, update, and adapt technical training materials (manuals, guides, presentations, exercises) for diverse audiences and learning levels.
  • Course Delivery: Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and hands‑on diagnostics, ensuring strong knowledge transfer and participant application.
  • Product Training: Translate complex product information into practical learning experiences, keeping teams current on new models, systems, and technologies.
  • Tools & Equipment Management: Maintain and oversee training tools and equipment inventory, ensuring availability, reliability, and compliance with technical standards.
  • Quality & Continuous Improvement: Assess training effectiveness, monitor participant performance, and integrate industry trends and innovations into program design.
  • Knowledge Evolution: Apply modern pedagogical techniques to maximize retention and practical application, fostering a culture of continuous technical learning.

Candidate Profile

  • Education: Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.
  • Experience: Proven track record in the automotive industry, ideally in technical training, diagnostics, or engineering roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electricity/electronics, internal combustion engines, transmissions, chassis systems, and hybrid/electric vehicles.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Advanced teaching and facilitation skills.
    • Clear, structured communication and presentation abilities.
    • Strong organizational and planning capability.
    • Analytical problem‑solving mindset with customer orientation.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse environments.
    • Adaptability to both presential and virtual learning contexts.
    • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Language Skills: Intermediate technical reading comprehension in English (desirable).
