We are seeking a talented and ambitious
Sales Engineer,
AI and Intelligent Automation****
to power our go-to-market for Intelligent Automation and AI. You will partner with account executives and solution leaders to discover client needs, build amazingly compelling demos, shape solution designs, and support RFPs and POCs that close business. You will focus primarily on IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), , Watson Orchestrate, watsonx.Governance, IBM Blueworks Live, and Business Compass. This position requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent English language skills.
Prerequisites
- Must reside in Colombia and be eligible for employment in Colombia.
- Proficiency in English is essential for this role.
- A valid U.S. visa is preferred (or the ability to obtain one), as this role includes occasional travel to the United States.
- You will be required to complete an assessment test as part of our candidate evaluation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery with prospects to uncover goals, pain points, success criteria, and technical constraints.
- Design and build persuasive product demos tailored to each prospect, with a focus on clear UX and storytelling.
- Deliver live demos and technical presentations in English for executives, business leaders, and technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to solution outlines and architectures for proposals with support from senior technical leaders.
- Support RFPs and security questionnaires with concise, accurate, and compliant responses.
- Plan and execute proof of concepts that validate value, success criteria, and adoption plans.
- Create reusable demo assets and a small library of repeatable scenarios for IBM BAW, , Watson Orchestrate, and related tooling.
- Collaborate with product, delivery, and marketing on feedback loops that sharpen positioning and demos.
- Maintain a light pre-sales lab environment and organize demo data, scripts, and environments for repeatability.
- Track activities and outcomes in the CRM and report on pipeline influence and POC progress.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years as a Sales Engineer or Pre-sales Consultant supporting enterprise software, preferably in Intelligent Automation or AI.
- Fluency in English, written and spoken, with strong presentation skills
- Strong technical curiosity and hands-on aptitude with modern platforms and APIs
- Demonstrated ability to craft clean, intuitive user interfaces for demos and POCs
- Solid problem solving, requirements gathering, and stakeholder communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building demos or POCs for process automation, workflow, or AI solutions.
- Familiarity with one or more of the following is a plus: IBM BAW, , Watson Orchestrate, watsonx.governance, IBM Blueworks Live, Business Compass.
- Basic solution design exposure across cloud, data, and integration patterns.
- Comfort with low code tooling, scripting, or API integration for demo assembly.
- Experience working with North American enterprise customers.
- An Industrial Engineering degree is very helpful.

- Demonstrates measurable influence on pipeline through demos, discovery, and RFP support
