Job Purpose

To support the procurement function by executing basic inquiry and purchasing activities within defined timeframes and budgets. This role ensures all necessary information is available for issuing inquiries, prepares and expedites purchase orders with attention to quality, and assists in vendor negotiations within established guidelines. Additionally, the role involves preparing vendor lists, expediting bids, and placing purchase orders, while providing support to senior colleagues as needed to ensure smooth and efficient procurement operations.

Job Description

• Fulfills simple inquiring and purchasing activities within time and budget
• Makes sure all the information necessary for issuing the inquiry is available
• Prepares the purchase order documents in due time and checks for quality; follows-up and expedites as necessary
• Supports in negotiations with vendors, within established guidelines
• Assists more senior colleagues, as requested.
