About the role
We are hiring a Senior Java Developer with 5+ years of experience to design and build scalable microservices within a modern cloud-based architecture. This role requires deep technical expertise in Java 21, Spring Boot, and Kafka, with a focus on developing reliable APIs and ensuring system performance and scalability.
What you will do:
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance microservices using Java 21 and Spring Boot.
- Build and integrate REST APIs with third-party and internal systems.
- Implement event-driven solutions using Confluent Kafka and Kafka Connect.
- Configure and manage Kubernetes deployments and Helm charts.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure secure and efficient OAuth and API Management.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
What you bring:
- 6+ years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong expertise in Java 21, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm charts.
- Proven experience with REST API development and integration.
- Working knowledge of Confluent Kafka; Kafka Connect experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with RDBMS (preferably Azure SQL Server).
- Understanding of OAuth, API Management, and performance tuning techniques.
