Lead MuleSoft Integrations Developer– Medellín, Colombia - On-Site - Permanent Role
About the Opportunity:
Our client is a hypergrowth SaaS company preparing for IPO and expanding its global engineering footprint. As part of this growth, they are building a brand-new technology team in Medellín, Colombia, and are looking for top-tier MuleSoft Integrations Developers to join this strategic initiative.
What You'll Do:
• Lead the design and implementation of MuleSoft integration solutions aligned with both business objectives and technical best practices.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, assess, and refine integration requirements.
• Build and maintain integration architecture, including APIs, connectors, workflows, and supporting technical documentation.
• Optimize integration solutions for scalability, reliability, and high performance.
• Diagnose and resolve integration-related issues efficiently to minimize disruption.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration configurations, processes, and solution frameworks.
• Stay updated with the latest MuleSoft features, best practices, and industry trends.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous professional development.
The Ideal Professional Will Have:
• 5+ years of experience in integration engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing complex integration solutions.
• 3+ years of experience in integration development using MuleSoft.
• Strong knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Runtime Manager, API Manager, and CloudHub.
• Proficient in MuleSoft connectors, DataWeave, and RAML.
• Strong experience in integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, GraphQL, XML, JSON, and middleware platforms.
• Solid understanding of integration patterns, microservices architecture, and API-led connectivity.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins or GitLab.
• Familiarity with database systems such as SQL, NoSQL, and relational databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• English proficiency level: B2/C1 and above
Other Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with other integration platforms and tools.
• MuleSoft certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect) and other relevant technologies are a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce integration.
