Responsible for testing and performing QA on our software products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Estimate, design, and implement testing for new major features/functionality
  • Create and execute functional and non-functional test cases
  • Engage team in risk analysis and provide recommendations
  • Reproduce complex issues within the assigned software
  • Proficient use of project and test tracking and documentation tools. Able to produce effective queries and searches.
  • Participate in product design reviews to learn about new functionality, contribute testing estimates, and contribute the testing/customer point of view
  • Direct test activities of multiple testers on a single project
  • Test automation regression maintenance & reporting
  • Share knowledge of product with support team members - may assist in training support on new features
  • Mentor less-experienced testers
  • Perform all of the above in a collaborative manner with a remote team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good knowledge of major aspects of assigned product(s)
  • Good IT knowledge for Windows and relevant IT subjects
  • Good knowledge of a major scripting/programming language on the product's platform. 
  • Good knowledge of exploratory testing. Good knowledge of non-functional test techniques.
  • Good knowledge of test automation principles, tools, and patterns
  • Detail oriented, independent work ethic, ability to learn new skills through job training
  • Bonus experience: Git, CI/CD, Virtual Machines, SharePoint, Exchange, FTP servers, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, RESTful API calls
