Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Sales Intern to join our dynamic sales team. Duties

  • Assist with outside and inside sales activities across designated territories
  • Support management in developing and executing business development strategies
  • Conduct lead generation through cold calling, networking, and market research
  • Participate in product demos and presentations to potential clients
  • Manage customer accounts and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication
  • Contribute to territory management efforts by identifying new markets and opportunities
  • Support CRM software updates and utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools for tracking sales activities
  • Engage in upselling and cross-selling initiatives to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly

Skills

  • Strong understanding of B2B sales, territory management, and account management principles
  • Experience or familiarity with outside sales, direct sales, retail sales, and technical sales environments
  • Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct product demos effectively and articulate value propositions clearly
  • Analytical skills for market analysis, sales forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies related to lead generation and customer engagement
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating within a team setting
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple accounts and territories
