You are an experienced engineer focused on enabling large-scale adoption of AI within developer environments. You operate comfortably in the balance between experimentation and operational rigor, understanding that AI enablement requires governance, measurement, and controlled scalability, not just innovation.

You bring a pragmatic mindset, strong technical judgment, and the ability to translate emerging AI capabilities into structured, reliable workflows that improve how engineering teams build, test, and deliver software.

You will shape how AI is embedded into the daily workflows of engineering teams, transforming isolated experiments into standardized, production-ready solutions that measurably improve developer speed, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Your work will influence the organization's AI enablement strategy by defining scalable patterns, establishing guardrails, and ensuring AI tools deliver tangible value while meeting strict security, compliance, and governance expectations.

• Design, prototype, and integrate AI-assisted developer workflows such as automated code review, PR drafting, and test generation.
• Build proof-of-concepts that demonstrate measurable improvements in developer speed or reliability and evolve them into reusable, production-ready paved paths.
• Experiment with AI agent frameworks to reduce engineering toil, including automated test execution, build failure triage, and intelligent responses to common engineering questions in Slack.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party AI assistants and IDE tools within the developer environment.
• Ensure all AI integrations are secure, auditable, and compliant with privacy, legal, and security standards.
• Define and track metrics for AI adoption, productivity gains, and safety outcomes in collaboration with Analytics and Product teams.
• Communicate insights and recommendations that inform and refine the AI enablement roadmap.
• Partner with engineering teams to co-run AI pilots, gather structured feedback, and scale successful patterns across the organization.
• Contribute to best-practice documentation and internal guidelines for responsible AI usage.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related technical roles.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience integrating and working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools including Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.
• Proven ability to operationalize AI in real development environments, moving from experimentation to scalable adoption.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, product, and analytics functions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical decisions, risks, and impact.

• Experience working with AWS cloud environments, including services such as EKS, RDS, S3, and IAM.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automation tools such as Buildkite, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
