Job Purpose
This position plays a crucial role in risk management by ensuring compliance throughout our recruitment and onboarding processes, with a focus on the AI space. The Senior Risk Mitigation Specialist will analyze recruitment and onboarding data to identify suspicious activities, they will conduct investigations and implement preventative measures to keep illegitimate activity in our recruitment processes at a minimum. This role will be responsible for continuously reviewing and improvement risk mitigation processes to ensure they are in line with the organization's standards of compliance.

Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Detect and identify fraudulent activities through data analysis and trend examination.
- Engage in constant monitoring and evaluation of applications transactions to pinpoint irregularities.
- Collaborating with Talent Finders to coach colleagues in fraud awareness, risk mitigation and prevention.
- Conducting in-depth investigations into identified fraud instances
- Investigate flagged transactions to determine their legitimacy
- Review data and conduct analysis to decide upon the viability of new fraud rules
- Contact applicants to verify suspicious transactions and gather necessary information
- Document and maintain detailed records of all investigations and actions taken
- Liaise with senior stakeholders in other areas (i.e.: Legal, Privacy, Security) to report on results and outcome of investigations
- Engage with Systems and IT teams to report on flags identified in current processes, and follow up on development of requested features / functionalities to support process improvement
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree a relevant field or equivalent experience
- +7 years of experience in a relevant role
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to liaise with and influence senior stakeholders
- Highly analytical skills, reliable and systematic
- Ability to work with data, analyze it and draw relevant conclusions / provide recommendations and reports.
- Able to execute in a high-volume, fast paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
