What we are looking for:

We're looking for a Treasury VP/Director to lead our treasury operations as we scale our domestic and cross-border payments infrastructure across Latin America. You'll be responsible for optimizing liquidity across multiple currencies and corridors, managing FX exposure, and building out our debt and credit facilities to support growth.

This is a high-impact role where you'll work closely with Finance, Operations, and Product teams to ensure we have the capital efficiency and funding structures needed to move money seamlessly for our clients.

What would you be doing:

Liquidity Management

• Design and execute liquidity strategies across multiple currencies, countries, and banking partners to minimize idle cash while ensuring sufficient float for payment operations
• Build and maintain cash flow forecasting models that account for payment volume variability, settlement cycles, and seasonal patterns
• Optimize pre-funding requirements and nostro/vostro account balances across correspondent banking relationships

FX Operations

• Manage foreign exchange exposure across payment corridors, including hedging strategies and spot/forward execution
• Negotiate FX rates with banking partners and evaluate alternative liquidity providers
• Develop pricing frameworks that balance competitive client rates with margin protection
• Monitor and report on FX P&L and exposure metrics

Debt & Credit Facilities

• Source, negotiate, and manage credit lines, working capital facilities, and other debt instruments to support payment operations and growth
• Maintain relationships with lenders and ensure compliance with covenant requirements
• Evaluate financing structures including warehouse facilities, revolving credit lines, and trade finance solutions
• Lead due diligence processes and documentation for new facilities

Banking Relationships & Infrastructure

• Manage relationships with banking partners across operating markets
• Optimize account structures and payment rails for efficiency and cost
• Ensure treasury operations comply with local regulations and internal controls
• Implement and improve treasury management systems and processes

What do you need:

• 7+ years of experience in treasury, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role
• Direct experience in payments, fintech, remittances, or financial services with multi-currency operations
• Strong background in FX operations
• Track record of negotiating and managing debt facilities or credit lines
• Experience working across Latin American markets preferred
• Proficiency with treasury management systems and advanced Excel/financial modeling
• Fluency in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience at a high-growth fintech or payments company
• Familiarity with correspondent banking networks and cross-border payment infrastructure
• Experience with regulatory requirements for money transmission or payment institutions in LATAM
