Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Architectural Drafter to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of architectural drafting experience, with a strong background in creating detailed drawings and construction documents for permit approval. This role requires advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, familiarity with U.S. codes and standards, and the ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and project managers.
The right candidate is meticulous, deadline-oriented, and capable of producing accurate documentation that meets the highest technical and aesthetic standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed architectural drawings and construction documents for permitting and construction.
- Translate design concepts into precise technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MPE teams to ensure design accuracy and alignment.
- Review and update redline drawings and ensure revisions are properly implemented.
- Assist in design development, visualization, and documentation for client presentations.
- Collaborate with senior architects and project managers to deliver timely, high-quality outputs.
- Maintain organized drawing sets and document control in accordance with company standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architectural drafting or documentation.
- Proficiency in Revit (required).
- Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software (preferred).
- Familiarity with U.S. building codes and standards (required).
- Knowledge of MPE systems (Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical) is a plus.
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients and projects is strongly preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must-Haves
- 8+ years of professional experience in architectural drafting or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Revit (test or sample work may be required).
- Experience working with U.S. clients or familiarity with American project documentation.
- Understanding of U.S. building codes and construction standards.
- Ability to produce precise, well-organized, and code-compliant documentation.
- Strong collaboration skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable internet connection and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Technical/System Requirements
- Desktop or laptop with Intel Core I7 or I9 or AMD Ryzen 7 or 9(or higher) processor
- Backup power source (generator, UPS, or accessible alternative workspace during outages)
- Minimum 32GB RAM for multitasking and large file handling
- NVIDIA RTX or AMD Radeon Pro graphics Card is recommended.
