Your role at Clorox:

Lead, manage, and control all Human Resources Operations across LATAM, with scope over payroll, hires and terminations, budgeting and monthly tracking, internal and external audits, compliance and legal/regulatory processes, HR data management, Workday super‑user responsibilities, and the administration of compensation and benefits programs. Ensure the accurate registration, control, and administration of HR processes and policies with high standards of quality and reliability. Act as a center of expertise and operational support to People& Directors across LATAM, ensuring the correct flow and execution of administrative processes in each country.

In this role, you will:

1) Lead, manage, and support end-to-end payroll processes
  • Prepare, align, and communicate the annual payroll calendar for LATAM countries.
  • Review, align, and communicate payroll procedures (policies, SOPs, templates, and controls).
  • Coordinate adjustments and continuous improvement initiatives in payroll processes and systems.
  • Define guidelines for the receipt, review, and validation of payroll inputs (incidents/variations).
  • Compile and submit inputs and changes for outsourcing partners and temporary personnel.
  • Ensure consistency and reliability in payroll execution ahead of final approvals per the authorization matrix (HR Generalist / Manager / Director).
  • Coordinate with outsourcing partners the files required for payroll disbursement of direct employees.
  • Coordinate payroll bank disbursements with Treasury.
  • Receive, review, validate, and confirm statutory social security obligations in each country.
  • Manage special payroll cycles (AIP, merit increases, expatriates, sales bonuses/commissions, 13th/14th salaries where applicable, severance, retention bonuses, and other country‑specific concepts).
  • Oversee payments and invoicing for outsourcing partners, including reporting and accounting support in SAP.
  • Ensure secure retention of historical employee and payroll backups for both direct and temporary staff.
  • Analyze payroll variances versus budget and explain key drivers.
  • Serve as the point of contact for contractors, advisors, and consultants on payroll and related obligations across LATAM.
2) Own Budget / LRP / Forecast processes and support business initiatives involving HR —
  • Ensure timely reports, reconciliations, databases, estimates, and variance analysis for Payroll, Headcount, and related S&B for Budget, LRP, and Forecast cycles.
  • Lead financial cadence meetings with Cluster HR Directors to define and align assumptions for Budget, LRP, and Forecast, including support for business projects.
  • Prepare proactive scenario models by country to support decision making and resource allocation.
  • Calculate and analyze initiatives aimed at driving efficiencies (S&B, Headcost, S&A, TDC), maximizing resources and ensuring financial discipline.
  • Provide high-quality analysis and information for implementation of efficiency projects from a payroll/Budget/LRP/Forecast perspective; advise HR Generalists on S&B matters.
  • Hold periodic follow-ups with FP&A to track S&B variances and mitigation plans.
  • Analyze, track, and control HR functional spending and overall budget.
  • Support budgets for regional roles located in LATAM in matters related to S&B and TDC.
3) Lead and manage internal/external audits and government inspections
  • Lead the periodic HR Self-Assessment process and close gaps.
  • Ensure information, evidence, and controls related to employee payments are up to date and available for internal and external audits.
  • Align audit timelines with Controllership and manage deliverables to on-time completion.
  • Coordinate and execute activities related to government inspections on payroll, social security, and statutory obligations.
4) Lead, manage, and control HR Administration processes
  • Generate formal documentation for mass processes (merit increases, AIP, bonus payments, statutory 13th/14th where applicable).
  • Develop and maintain reporting that supports HR Teams with key KPIs (headcount, headcost, ratios, trends, correlations, deviations) to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare statutory personnel reports required by Controllership, external auditors, and government entities across LATAM countries.
  • Manage documentation and payments for terminations in line with policy and local/legal requirements.
  • Participate in labor market surveys, external benchmarks, and analysis to anticipate changes in labor/legal trends.
  • Administer budget execution, payments, and cost allocations aligned to cost-center structures for HR annual execution.
  • Lead vendor administration for strategic HR service providers (SLA management and issue escalation).
  • Manage administrative and payment processes, cases, and inquiries related to expatriate populations; provide timely reporting to tax, legal, and mobility partners.
  • Ensure proper payroll treatment of collective bargaining agreements and/or front-line populations where applicable by country.
  • Provide expert support to HR Generalists on compensation, benefits, and variable pay matters.
  • Oversee Tier-2 employee inquiries related to payroll and HR administration; drive first‑time‑right outcomes.
  • Supervise HR Admin teams by country, aligning priorities and standard ways of working.
  • Ensure Workday and payroll data accuracy and integrity in line with data governance practices.
  • Lead HR Data Management as Workday super‑user (config, testing, controls, and training).

What we look for:

Years and Type of Experience
  • Minimum 7+ years in Human Resources with strong experience in Payroll, HR & S&B budgeting, HR Administration, Labor Legislation, HR Audits, and Compensation.
  • Proven responsibility for a shared services or centralized HR operations function.
  • Regional LATAM exposure required.
  • Intermediate–advanced English required.
  • Workday and SAP exposure strongly preferred.

Education Level / Degree
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
