**What success looks like in this role**:

- 1. Active Directory Management _
- _AD Objects Management and Security _
- _Manage User accounts, Groups and Permissions _
- _Group Policy Creation and Management _
- 2. Server Management: _
- _Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows servers, ensuring they run efficiently and securely. _
- _System Monitoring: Monitoring system performance using tools like Performance Monitor or third-party tools to ensure uptime and efficiency. _
- 3. Automation _
- _Scripting knowledge and experience required _
- _Develop and Implement automation solutions through PowerShell or any other scripting tool. _
- 4. Troubleshooting and Support _
- _Technical Support: Providing Level 2/Level 3 support for issues escalated from helpdesk staff, especially more complex issues related to Windows systems. _
- _Performance Optimization: Diagnosing and resolving performance bottlenecks and optimizing system configurations for improved performance. _
- 5. Network Administration _
- _DNS/DHCP Management: Administering DNS and DHCP services to ensure proper network functioning. _
- _VPN Setup and Maintenance: Configuring and maintaining VPN services for remote access users. _
- _Network Troubleshooting**: Assisting with network diagnostics and ensuring Windows systems properly communicate over the network. _
- 6. Virtualization _
- _Hyper-V/VMware Management: Setting up and maintaining virtual machines using Hyper-V or VMware, often in an on-premises or hybrid environment. _

**You will be successful in this role if you have**:

- _University degree or equivalent education and experience _
- _Minimum of 3 years relevant experience _
- _Microsoft Active Directory _
- _Need someone with a go getter attitude who can challenge themselves on how to do things better and easier _
- _Scripting skills are a must _
- _MCSE Certification a plus _
- _Ability to support multiple clients/ technologies _
- _Must be client focused, display interpersonal skills and be an effective team member. _
