**Job Purpose**
- The Product Owner will be responsible for maximizing return on investment (ROI) by identifying product features, translating these into a prioritized list, deciding which should be at the top of the list for the next Sprint, and continually re-prioritizing and refining the list. The Product Owner has profit and loss responsibility for the product.

The Product Owner is ensuring Stories meet the user’s needs and comply with the Definition of Done. By the end of the Sprint, the Product Owner is responsible for accepting the iteration increments.

The Product Owner at Astound will support the Product Owner on the client side and can act as a coach / mentor. The Astound Product Owner acts as a team with the Product Owner on the client side.

**In this role you will get to**
- Serve as the voice of the customers
- Owns the Product Vision, Product Roadmap and Product Backlog
- Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product
- Help to define the short and long-term roadmap for an eCommerce platform
- Develop scope and define backlog items (epics/features/user stories)
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Create, prioritize, develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
- Perform UAT on a daily basis
- Identifies and helps the team understand the business model, value and value proposition
- Act as an ambassador for the product and as the primary contact for queries related to the product
- Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams
- Work with the development team to execute the product vision
- Analyze and track competitors and stay on top of industry and market trends
- Be a member of the Scrum team

**Your skills and qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience as Product Owner
- Entrepreneurship skills or experience
- Strong Agile mindset and a deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies
- Creative thinker, strategic thinking, attention to details, discipline, active listening
- Management of stakeholders and their expectation, the experience in sales or marketing is an advantage
- Technical experience in eCommerce platforms
- Knowledge in Jira, Confluence is a plus
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal
- Understanding of cognitive biases in multicultural environments
- Excellent written and oral communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
