**About the position**:
The Netskope Finance Team is looking for an experienced financial analyst to help lead our R&D finance function. Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate FP&A, this individual will develop the framework for budgeting, resource planning, portfolio planning/analysis, and rationalization of R&D and capex investments. You will own the financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics for these teams and provide recommendations to your business partners within these key functional areas.

We are looking for a financial analyst that is highly quantitative and analytical, but also possesses the ability to collaborate, drive alignment, and influence decisions with business partners and other cross-functional teams. **Responsibilities**:

- Develop the processes, tools, and infrastructure for enabling detailed level budgeting, resource planning, portfolio planning, and driving the process for ROI-driven investments within the framework of the annual operating plan and long-term business model
- Build strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across organizations to drive operational efficiency between finance and related teams
- Provide analytical decision-making support for business partners
- Build dashboards to design, implement, and track KPIs to measure performance against strategic goals, identify emerging trends, and provide insights about the drivers of performance and ROI
- Wrangle financial and operational data from disparate sources and teams to aggregate, summarize, and analyze to derive insights and reports
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed and present findings to senior management
- Coordinate regular business reviews, present financials overviews, and communicate risks and opportunities to senior management
- Partner with functional leaders to develop the annual plan and ongoing forecast for departmental expenses and headcount, flux analysis and financial planning

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of progressive finance experience working in high-growth technology, preferably with experience in cloud, SaaS, and/or security
- Data-driven: advanced financial modeling and presentation abilities required; BI/analytics/dashboard skills (e.g., Looker) a plus
- Previous experience with financial planning and accounting tools (NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, etc.) a plus
- Prior experience supporting teams from R&D, engineering, or similar functions a plus
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal and presentations
- Proven experience in cultivating collaborative working relationships with teams across an organization (including remote environments)
- Strong analytical, operational, and problem-solving skills with extreme attention to detail
- Self-starter with ability to be agile in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field required
