Middle DevOps Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Upkeep and enhancement of the LightOps monitoring system
- Management of incident troubleshooting, resolution, documenting, and post-incident analysis
- Development of knowledge sharing and playbook
- Acting as a liaison between operations and engineering teams
- Oversight of infrastructure performance and capacity planning
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams for project goal attainment
- Engagement with mentor for ongoing learning and development of both technical and soft skills

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer role
- Profound understanding of Google Cloud Platform and its offerings
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience in infrastructure performance and capacity planning
- Knowledge of NAT, DNS, and DHCP
- Proficiency in using Git and PagerDuty
- Database skills, specifically MongoDB, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
- Experience in disaster recovery, including backup geo-redundancy and recovery scripting
- English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level (B2+)

NICE TO HAVE
- GCP certification
- Experience with Grafana and Prometheus for observability and monitoring
- Strong programming skills in Golang
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch
