We are looking for a Mid senior / Senior Full Stack Software Developer.

As a Senior Full Stack Software Developer, you will drive the design, development, optimization, testing and maintenance of Affirm's web, working closely with Product, Operations, and other Affirm's teams. You will have the autonomy and responsibility to develop new products in a results-oriented culture. This is an exciting, high impact development role with one of Canada's leading growth-stage fintech companies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Writing well-tested Python/Javascript code in an iterative way with Flask, React frameworks
- Write React/Redux code to update User Interfaces and Experiences
- Building efficient and effective RESTFul API
- Performing technical designs which are aligned with the global architecture
- Constantly improves the code base in meaningful ways
- Understand what to build from product management and product design
- Engage and collaborate as part of a self-organized squad, using agile, lean and scrum

**Experience**
- **3+ years of experience in Python and React (Mid senior) or senior is a must and Kotlin Nice to have.**:

- 3+ years of hand on experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, CSS or any other front end technologies (Nice to have)
- knowledge of micro services approach or mindset is a big plus.
- knowledge of Kubernetes it's very helpful as well
- Experience in SQL, including constructing SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimization techniques
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID Principles and design patterns
- Experience working with Testing Tools such as Jest and Mocka.
