**About the Role**

We are looking for an empowered, ready for action Operations Specialist to join our Planning & Analytics team for the Loonshot project in LATAM, a project that will revolutionize the ride-hailing business model. This person will be a strategic thinker and problem solver responsible for complex decision making in a high-paced operational environment.

What you'll do day in day out_**:
The Operations Analytics Specialist will be responsible for operational decision making and process definition for those aspects where data handling and analytical skills are required. At the moment, the main focuses you'll work on would be Planning and Scheduling, collaborator variable compensation schemes and performance management. Nonetheless, our operations are dynamic and you could be adding value in other aspects in the short term as well. Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborate with the weekly and daily planning and scheduling process. Making sure we utilize our assets, facilities and resources in the most efficient manner.
- Participate in the mid term planning decision making. Tackling issues such as deciding required driver level, identifying hiring and training needs, deciding on driver shift strategy, etc.
- Keep the planning process continuously evolving, making sure processes are well documented and learnings captured. Think beyond the current state of affairs, so we can direct the planning process to what it should be. Propose automations and adaptations of current tools.
- Make sure information from operations is accurately recorded and reported. Own the operational processes and files where that information is recorded, making sure data makes sense and the tools are fit to support operations and reporting needs.
- Help in the definition of driver KPIs and the variable compensation schemes designed to achieve company goals. Propose iterations on weights and measures for variable compensation schemes.
- Make sure performance information is processed correctly to ensure proper payment of bonuses.
- Analyze and derive insights from performance information
- Evaluate adequacy of the compensation schemes and propose improvements

**_What you need to have_**:

- 2-4 years of experience in Operations or/and Analytics roles. (Operations Analyst/Specialist, Operation Strategy Analyst, Operations consultant, etc.)
- Advanced english skills
- Advanced skills with spreadsheet
- Medium to Advanced skills in SQL
- Soft skills. Ability to give and receive feedback in a high pressure environment
- Act as owner of a situation when a manager is out of reach
- Analytical and curious. Look for continuous improvement opportunities
- Python or similar is a plus
